Fitness Classes

  Using fitballs to exercise is an excellent way to help build strength by engaging muscle groups, improve your flexibility, and increase core stability, all of which are important for maintaining a healthy musculoskeletal system and improving overall fitness.
  The class is suitable for all abilities and fitness levels and is limited to a maximum number of 6-8 participants, meaning that the exercises can be tailored to your own requirements.
  The class is particularly suitable for those who have arthritic spines, knees and hips as the exercises can help to build muscles around these joints without putting too much stress on the body, or those who are struggling to exercise effectively due to other musculoskeletal conditions.

  Tara joined The Lansdown Clinic in 2013 before becoming Clinic Director in 2014. She trained at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan (now the University of South Wales) obtaining a Masters in Chiropractic (MChiro). Tara also obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate in Professional Development and Patient Management. Tara is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and a member of the British Chiropractic Association. She is also a Licentiate at the Royal College of Chiropractors.
  Tara has a particular interest in care for the elderly and likes to focus on family based Chiropractic care. She is also interested in sports Chiropractic which offers effective management for specific sports-related injuries and also treatment aimed at injury prevention and optimum functionality. Tara also has an interest in pregnancy, post-natal and paediatric treatment.
  Tara utilises a range of techniques to treat spinal and joint conditions, which include Chiropractic manipulations, medical acupuncture, home exercises and stretches. Tara also used to run the in-house Spinal Rehabilitation course and understands the importance of spinal stability.

  Sarah is a qualified Foot Health Practitioner and completed her professional training with the SMAE Institute, with the Open College of Foot Health Professionals. Sarah is a registered member of The British Association of Foot Health Professionals and has experience of working in domiciliary as a mobile foot health practitioner. She specialises in all aspects of foot health, from basic nail care, removal of corns, verruca treatment, calluses, cracked heels, fungal and thickened nails, ingrowing nails, Diabetic foot care and advice, tailored treatment plans.
