23th March 2020
Dear Patients
I am sad to say that, following the government directive to close local facilities to help stop the transmission of COVID-19, we have decided that The Lansdown Clinic will temporarily close as of Monday 23rd March 2020.
Future Appointments:
We are taking it one step at a time and will be in contact if you an appointment in the next few weeks. However, we are holding all future appointments in the diary, so that when we re-open, all of the pre-booked slots that you have reserved, and work best for you, will still be available. We will confirm any appointments with you as soon as we re-open and no rescheduling charges will apply.
Emergency care and keyworker appointments:
We will be offering emergency appointments at the practice for people in pain or those who are working on the front line supporting the NHS, Transport, Supermarkets and other keyworker roles. We made a promise to look after our front line and will let you know as soon as we can when these become available.
We ask all patients to continue to follow the guidelines regarding self-isolation and social distancing. Should you attend the clinic for an emergency/keyworker appointment we will be asking that you attend by yourself (unless a carer is needed). We will ask you to wash your hands as soon as you enter the building and before your appointment. We will be following all the government hygiene procedures and wiping couches and washing hands after every visit.
And for now:
We will be reviewing our opening status weekly (inline with government recommendations), so we can re-open as quickly as possible to support you.
You are important to us, so we will be in communication with you regularly via email, Facebook, and phone. Our email reception@lansdownclinic.co.uk is still open should you need help/advice or have any questions.
Please stay safe and well. Thank you for continuing to support us and we very much look forward to looking after you once this challenging time has passed.
Much Love,
Tara and The Lansdown Clinic Team
